Lighty Sketch

An adventurous artist, a curious designer.

lightysketch

A girl traveling the world with a rocket pencil in hand, searching for the ultimate creative tool. For reasons unknown, Ezelia, a living easel cat, suddenly came to life, and now she adventures alongside it. Every time she discovers new brushs or features, it just so happens that Feather gains a new feature. How curious.

1. Side Tail

Her signature hairstyle, tied up to the side, is an iconic look. However, it's also the result of the original creator’s shameless attempt to make her a marketable mascot.

2. Group Icon

A badge inspired by Feather's Group Tab icon. The Group Tab is an essential tool for managing and organizing curves. Lighty is an active supporter of the community campaign to add a group-in-group function to Feather. Learn more at Group Tab.

3. Clipboard Icon

A badge modeled after Feather’s Clipboard icon. The clipboard is used for importing reference images, and Lighty loves collecting various references—interesting sculptures, cicada shells, pretty autumn leaves—whatever catches her eye. Learn more about Clipboard.

4. Apron

A tool-packed apron filled with essentials for creativity. Since the straps form a necktie shape, she insists that this officially qualifies as wearing formal attire.

5. Boots

Designed with a special sole shape, these boots let her perch on branches like a bird. A simple change in perspective sparks new inspiration, so for an aspiring artist and designer, hanging upside down from a tree is practically a necessity.

6. Legacy Home Button

A relic from Feather’s beta days—specifically, before November 2024. Why is it embroidered on her hoodie? No one knows. Check out the current Home button design at Home.

7. Joystick Backpack

A backpack inspired by Feather’s joystick tool, and it actually functions in a similar way. After extensive research, the feature was introduced to 3D Joystick.

8. Polypoint Icon

Legend has it that before Feather was Feather, it was once called Polypoint.

9. Simulation Ball

A toy ball designed after fluid dynamics simulations. What could it be hinting at?

10. Joystick Lock Handle

A useful feature that locks the 2D joystick. Learn more about Lock 2D Joystick.

11. Joystick Scale Handle

An essential tool for adjusting scale when using the joystick to manipulate curves. Learn more about Scale Handle.

Ezelia the Cat

A living easel cat with a multi-dimensional personality.

ezeliathecat

One day, this easel cat suddenly came to life. When powered by the rocket pencil, it transforms into a 3D guide, assisting Lighty in her creative process. Whether this is of its own free will remains unknown.

1. Paper Clip

Holds Ezelia’s face in place. Ezelia believes it’s a decorative accessory. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

2. Adorable Face

A truly expressive face. Our chief designer once claimed it wasn’t that cute, but times change, and so do the standards of cuteness. We call that progress.

3. Not Fluffy

Unfortunately, these paws are hard and rigid. Were you expecting something soft? It’s an easel, after all.

4. Stickers

Most of these stickers were put on by Lighty. Given Ezelia’s anatomy, it's safe to assume it can’t remove them by itself. See any familiar ones?

5. Important Area

A very important area. It’s important for real cats too.

Gadgets

Only the essentials for creativity.

gadgets

These are the most basic tools for any creator—widely available and accessible to everyone.

1. Rocket Pencil

As you can see, this is the most powerful pencil ever built. It has a maximum thrust of 7.6MN at sea level, 16.4MN in a vacuum, and a burn time of 154.3 seconds. Equipped with grid fins for directional control and a built-in controller for switching brush types, Lighty not only sketches with it but also uses it as transportation. Rumor has it, it was originally designed for a Mars mission.

2. Joystick Backpack

A backpack inspired by the revolutionary 3D curve manipulation UI. Lighty connects it to her favorite asymmetric gamepad for precision control. Curious how it works? Learn more at 2D Joystick.

3. Ezelia (3D Guide Form)

With a well-aimed rocket pencil shot, Ezelia transforms into a 3D guide. Looks familiar? Learn more at Draw 3D Guide.

4. Close 3D Guide Button

An impressively accurate representation. In Feather, this button is used to close an already drawn guide or adjust its opacity. Learn more about Control 3D Guide.
