2D Joystick

Learn how to transform based on the view perspective.

Default 2D Joystick

The 2D Joystick moves, rotates, and scales objects based on the view direction. It's very intuitive because it transforms as it appears.

tapmove

Tap and Drag Stick to Move

Tap and hold the center circle of the 2D Joystick to turn it black. Drag to move the selected curve or resource in that direction. The stick can move outside the joystick layout. When you release, the stick returns to its original position.

tapscale

Tap and Drag Scale Handle

Tap and drag the scale handles located above and to the left of the stick to scale the selected curve or resource. Handles allow height scaling, width scaling, or free scaling. The scaling reference point is the center of the screen, marked with a crosshair.

taprotate

Tap and Spin Rotate Handle

Tap and spin the rotate handle on the right of the stick to rotate the selected curve or resource. The rotation center point is the center of the screen, marked with a crosshair.

Lock 2D Joystick

Locking the joystick restricts movement and rotation values. It's useful for precise transformations.

lockmove

Tap and Drag Stick to Move in 4 Directions

When the 2D Joystick is locked, tapping and dragging the stick only allows movement up, down, left, and right.

lockscale

Tap and Drag Scale Handle for Uniform Scaling

The locked 2D Joystick has a single scale handle. Tap and drag it to uniformly scale the selected curve or resource. The scaling reference point is the center of the screen.

lockrotate

Tap and Spin Rotate Handle for 15-Degree Increments

Tap and spin the rotate handle on the locked 2D Joystick to rotate the selected curve or resource in 15-degree increments. It's useful for rotating to specific angles like 90 or 180 degrees. The rotation center point is the center of the screen.
