Squeeze Menu

Just like squeezing paint onto a palette, gently squeeze your Apple Pencil Pro to magically reveal the most relevant tools for your workflow. Start drawing or erasing while holding it down to instantly switch tools. See details

Copy, Rotate, and Paste

With the Stamp feature in the Squeeze Menu, you can perform all three actions seamlessly. While using the feature, twist your Apple Pencil Pro left or right. See details

Find Groups Instantly

Quickly activate the group you need with Find Group. Not only will it be highlighted, but you’ll also see its name at a glance. See details

Restore Guide

Accidentally deleted your 3D guide? No worries! You can restore your previously used 3D guide from the Squeeze Menu. See details

Hover

Feather's tools now respond to hover, allowing you to preview color and brush size before applying strokes. Additionally, new cursors have been added, making it easier to identify the selected tool at a glance. See details

Magnifier

You no longer need to get close to the screen to sample colors. The magnifier has been added, allowing you to see the color you're sampling and brush properties at a glance. See details

Tangible Experience

With Apple Pencil Pro, you can feel haptic feedback when erasing lines, making selections, or sampling colors and brush properties. It’s a whole new experience—like feeling your sketch with your fingertips—allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your creative process. See details

Tune A Feather

The layout and design have been meticulously fine-tuned to enhance usability and visibility. Smooth transition effects have been added between screens and elements, ensuring seamless performance across all aspect ratios.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Added distinct cursor designs to differentiate between Draw, Shape, Erase, Vacuum, Select, and Deselect.
• Double-tap now allows switching between Draw and Erase.
• Customization options added for Pencil Squeeze and Double Tap gestures.
• Added transition animations when switching between Home and Note.
• Background images now fill the screen when aspect ratios do not match.
• Entering Sequence mode with a selected curve now deselects the curve automatically.
• When creating a 3D guide using Loft or Primitive Shape, switching to Erase or Select will now automatically confirm the guide.

This update lays the groundwork for upcoming features. We have focused on improving user experience by addressing key pain points and enhancing app stability. You can now also back up your data safely or share it with others using the new file export feature.

Data backup and file export

You can now export and import Feather data as files. This feature is useful for backing up your data safely or when reinstalling the app. You can export files directly from the home screen or export all files at once via "Settings > Data management". To re-import files, go to "Settings > Data management".

Auto-save and manual save improvements

Auto-save now works even when switching between apps. Issues where manual save occasionally failed have been resolved, and preview images are now updated along with your data.

Clipboard improvements

We have fixed bugs related to the clipboard panel and image manipulation, providing a smoother experience. You can now move images with just one finger.

Enhanced overall user experience

A loading screen has been added when launching the app. We've also made careful adjustments to the size and position of the interface. Users can now manually refresh resources via in-app notifications or Settings to ensure they always have the latest app content.

More bug fixes

• 3D guides now display correctly when deselected.
• Loft surfaces are now confirmed instead of being canceled when switching to another tool.
• Transformations of 3D primitives are now properly reflected in the history.
• Previously applied patterns can now be replaced with other patterns.
