Major Updates

  • With new brushes, better navigation, and a 3D joystick, you can now work on larger or smaller scales. The app's stability has been greatly improved, making it faster, and the UI has been refined.

Paint, Shift and Shoot

Feather 1.5 brings new brushes, improved navigation, 3D joystick, and many more features. The app is now faster and can handle more data, thanks to enhanced stapility.

4 new brushes including the Wide Brush have been added, allowing you to paint larger areas faster and more easily. Existing brushes have also been improved, drawing better and more accurately than before. See details

Smooth and adjust your strokes with Stable Stroke, and test these adjustments directly with the new UI that lets you see the impact on your own lines. See details

Loft

You can now not only draw 3D Guides, but also create them from curves you've already drawn. Challenge yourself with creative surfaces that you couldn't make with drawing 3D Guides. See details

Z Axis Mirror

Mirror now supports the Z Axis. Use the new interface to mirror more quickly and effectively. See details

3D Joystick

Feather's unique Transform interface is now even more useful. The new 3D Joystick lets you move or rotate curves on any axis. See details

Better Navigation

Explore more freely and easily. The new navigation supports a wider workspace. Press and hold on a sketch or Grid with your finger to pin the orbit point. See details

You can now adjust the opacity of 3D Guides. No more interference when drawing stickers or decals. See details

Sequence

Save, edit, and play back camera shots. With Sequence, you can prepare presentations that transition between the interior and exterior of buildings or create simple animations with characters. See details

UI Visual Improvements

The visuals of 3D Guides and the Grid have been improved. They now respond to background colors for better visibility in any environment.

Curves now follow the contours of 3D Guides more naturally, maintaining their shape even when moved or rotated. Additionally, you can still change the brush type after drawing.

The sign-in and survey process has been simplified. Thank you to everyone who participates!

Bug fix & Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where selecting curves of different colors and adjusting the opacity would unify them into the same color.
  • Improved performance when toggling group visibility.
  • Scroll position in the group panel is now saved for each note.
  • The Eyedropper now extracts colors more accurately.
  • The minimum brush size has been changed from 5 to 1 mm.
  • Easier to switch brushes up and down without expanding the brush list.
  • The back button in the brush panel has been removed. Tap or click outside the panel to collapse it.
  • When the slider in the brush panel is expanded, the numpad automatically appears.
  • The position of the color wheel for setting background color in the environment has been adjusted, and it now closes automatically when tapping elsewhere.
  • UI size and color have been subtly adjusted.
  • The position and UI of the system container have been improved.
  • Groups can no longer be hidden if some curves within them are selected.
  • Various minor bugs have been fixed.
  • A hidden feature has been added. Can you find it? Hint: "Arrival".

Bug fix

  • Fixed bug where zooming with the mouse wheel on PC caused the screen to shift sideways.
  • Fixed bug where panning with the mouse wheel button on PC triggered zoom.
  • Fixed bug where undo/redo operations applied to joystick actions on multiple selected groups only affected one group.
  • Fixed bug where notes were continuously saved despite no modifications.

Sign in

  • Minimized the actual sign-up process by moving "motive/purpose" to the survey section and collecting only essential information for registration.
  • Remove unnecessary survey items from the survey section.

Bug fix

  • Fixed bug where the brush list was not displayed if there was at least one brush saved as deprecated brush preset.
  • Resolved issue where mesh composed of line segments was not rendered during .OBJ import.
  • Fixed bug when you delete an invisible group; the deleted group couldn’t be undeleted.
  • Fixed issue where guides sometimes did not bend properly and disappeared in certain cases.

    • Import 2D imges to clipboard window and extract color from it

Import and Export

  • Import 2D images as references or into the 3D scene.
  • Import 3D OBJ files, and they will be kept in the note.
  • Export the drawings with more options, and MP4 is now supported.
  • Share your drawing with a public URL.

  • Use without a pen; draw with touch (finger or capacitive pen).
  • Group & environment setting panels are more intuitive.

  • Adjusted joystick behavior for proper interaction with the 3D guide selection; previously, the 3D guide moved or rotated based on the grid origin.

Stable Save

  • The way of saving data online and in the browser has changed. Stroke data is safe although the internet connection is unstable.

Draw Shape

  • Draw line, circle, ellipse with 'Draw shape' by changing the drawing mode.
  • Add tension control feature to the Draw Shape tool.
    • After completing a stroke, keep the pen pressed and wait momentarily to enter tension control mode.
    • In this mode, you can push and pull the pen in the direction from the start point to the end point to adjust the stroke tension.
